To find what you seek in the road of life, the best proverb of all is that which says:
"Leave no stone unturned."
Edward Bulwer Lytton

You just wish for a day where you’re not pretending or trying to be happy.

Behind your smile lies a hurting heart,

Behind you laughs, you’re falling apart.

You are tired of trying, sick of crying.

Yeah, you are smiling,

but deep down inside,

you’re broken beyond pieces.

If you look closely at the mirror,

You will see a girl that you have not imagined her to be.

The girl who always claims that she’s fine,

The girl who puts up with reality everyday,

The girl who sees you, smiles half a smile,

The girl who always has time to listen to you vent

and is willing to give her opinion to help you in anyway that she can,

The girl who cares about helping everyone but herself,

They say she is strong,

but maybe she’s just better at pretending than you.

I’m sorry for making her feel things that made it worse,

I’m sorry for being selfish.

I’m sorry for being ignorant.

I’m sorry for everything.

I believe everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn how to let go. Things go wrong, so that you appreciate them when they are right. You believe lies, so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes, good things fall apart for better things to fall together.

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You’ll have your heart broken and you’ll break others’ hearts. You’ll fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them, and you’ll cry because time is flying by. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you’ve never been hurt. Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. You just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone’s hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be a flirt, and smile until your face hurts. Don’t be afraid to take chances or fall in love and most of all, live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back.

"When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one that has opened for us.

What is Life? Eg: Life = ?

Life + Love = Happy :) ———— Equation 1

Life - Love = Sad :( —————- Equation 2

When Equation 1 & 2 is added, Love is eliminated.

Hence, we now have:

2 X Life = Happy + Sad

Life = (Happy + Sad)/2

Life = (Happy/2) + (Sad/2)

Therefore, Life = 1/2 Happy + 1/2 Sad

OR

We can also find the value of Love by subtracting Equation 1 & 2.

Life + Love = Happy :) ———— Equation 1

Life - Love = Sad :( —————- Equation 2

Hence, 2 X Love = Happy - Sad

Love = (Happy - Sad)/2

Therefore, Love = 1/2 Happy - 1/2 Sad

This is just something to lighten up life. =)

  • Question: WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY? - tumblrbot
  • Answer:

    Hmmm… One of my earliest human memory? I think there was quite a lot of flashes of memories I had when I was small, but the earliest one was when I was only 3 years old? I remembered clearly that I was sitting and playing around in the baby cot in my room. The door was closed. I heard the door opening, and I saw my parents peeking into that door, surprised to see that I’m awake. For now, I think that was the earliest memory that I could remember.

The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.

 ~ Eleanor Roosevelt

After reading that, I came to realize that I don’t even have a purpose in life. What do I live for? The answer lies beyond what normally people would achieve. Having a good education, job and life as a whole. I believe that little meaningful things that happens around us and experiences that we gained makes up life. I look at the others and I see them aiming high and achieving something in their lives and yet I just watch and feel happy for them. Everytime it happens, I’ve always wondered, when am I going to be like them? Will I be able to take the first step? Will this work out in the end? I think its time for me to step out of my comfort zone and start to make the first step. I’ll just have to tell myself, if you made the first step, you are already halfway through.

And thus, I’m eager to experience life once more again like it used to be. When opportunity comes knocking next year, I will definitely take it.
